Position: Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Target Achievement: Ensure the sales team meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region.
Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to drive performance, providing guidance on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer interaction.
Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and distributors in the region to foster loyalty and increase business opportunities.
Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports to assist in budget planning and resource allocation.
Product Promotion & Launch: Collaborate with marketing teams to launch new products, ensure effective promotion, and track sales performance post-launch.
Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance reviews with sales representatives, assessing their individual targets, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Reporting: Submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and team progress to senior management.
Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage regional sales budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled while maximizing sales opportunities.
Travel & Field Work: Regularly visit key clients, distributors, and sales territories to directly oversee operations, address issues, and drive sales activities.
Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any client or team-related issues swiftly to maintain positive working relationships and ensure smooth sales operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, and logistics teams to ensure alignment between sales goals and overall business objectives.
Qualification & Required Skills:
>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
> Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with at least 4 years in a leadership or management role.
> Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
> Strong understanding of sales strategies, business development, and customer relationship management.
> Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
> Experience in relevant industry.
> Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-value deals.
> Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and reports.
